Led her Mountainair High School team to back to back District Championships in 2014 and 2015... Named as a New Mexico All-Star game participant in 2015... Also competed on the 2015 State Champion Cross Country Team during her prep career and the 2015 State Champion 4X400 relay team in track and field.

Parents are Tom and Lisa Gikas... Enjoys hiking in her free time and aspires to obtain a master's degree in nutrition in Colorado upon graduation.
