Biography

As a Junior in 2009 ... Played in 99 of the Zias 102 sets and started 25 matches ... Finished with 223 kills, 260 assists, 10 service aces, 243 digs and 38 blocks ... Season-high 18 kills and .298 attack percentage against Angelo State (9/17/2009) ... 40 assists against Southeastern Oklahoma State (10/24/2009) ... Did not have a reception error in her last six matches of the season ... Had a 20-dig match in a win over Fort Hays State (9/12/2009) ... Had eight blocks against Colorado State-Pueblo (9/5/2009) ... Made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll ... Selected as the ENMUSports.com Student Athlete of the Week twice (9/6 and 9/13).

As a Sophomore in 2008 ... Played in 33 matches with 30 starts ... Was one of the most versatile Zias, Finishing first in kills (260), kills per set (2.24), third in assists per set (1.0), second in total blocks (56) and third in digs (269) ... Hit a season-high .333 against Texas A&M-International with 18 kills (10/4/2008) ... Topped the .300 mark a second time (.320), coming against Cameron (10/23/2008) ... Had 14 kills against University of Central Oklahoma (10/18/2008) and Newman (9/11/2008) ...  Dished out a career-high 34 assists against Tarleton State (11/6/2008) ... Posted a 26-dig game against Wayland Baptist (9/9/2008) ... Blocked five attacks against Grand Canyon University (9/13/2008) ...  Selected as the ENMUSports.com Volleyball Player of the Week (9/28).

As a Freshman in 2007 ... Played in 27 matches with 20 starts ... Led the Zias with 208 kills, reaching double figures four times, including a team-best 16 kills against Angelo State on September 29th.

Before ENMU ... Played for head coach Harold Davis at Canyon High School ... Earned regional Most Valuable Player honors as a senior, as well as All-State laurels ... Led the Eagles to a runner-up finish at the State Championships ... Was a First Team All-District selection in 2005 and 2006 and chosen as the Seminole Tournament "Outstanding Hitter" in 2006 ... After her senior season, she was named her team’s Most Valuable Player ... Also played guard for the CHS basketball team, leading the squad to the State Championship in the 2005 season ... Played on numerous club volleyball teams ... A member of the National Honor Society ... Appeared in Who’s Who of America.

Personal ... Majoring in music education, with a minor in psychology at Eastern New Mexico University .
