Cam Parker

Cam Parker comes to Eastern New Mexico University as an assistant for the men’s basketball program. He arrives in Portales with seven years of collegiate coaching experience.

His most recent stop was at South Plains College where he helped the program win a 2023-24 WJCAC (Western Junior College Athletic Conference) championship and earn a bid to the NJCAA Elite Eight after a 32-3 record. SPC began the year on a 26-game winning streak and ranked top-two nationally throughout the whole season, including 10 of 14 weeks at No. 1.

Prior to his time in the Lone Star state, he was an assistant at Northwest Florida State College where the program made it all the way to the 2022-23 NJCAA national title game. The team’s success included a 29-8 record along with a Division I FCSAA/NJCAA South Atlantic District tournament championship.

Parker began his coaching career in 2017 at Butler Community College in Kansas where he spent five seasons on staff with the Grizzlies. The newest Greyhound coach was no stranger to BCC as he was a student-athlete on the team during the 2014-15 season. That team ended up ranking as high as fourth in the nation and finishing with a 29-4 record and a NJCAA tournament appearance.

Parker finished his associate’s degree in 2016 and graduated with a bachelor’s from Wichita State University in 2021.
