Destiny Bragman joins Eastern New Mexico University as an assistant women’s basketball coach, bringing a strong background in coaching, player development, and program building at multiple collegiate levels.
Bragman most recently served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Eastern Illinois, where she helped guide the program to an 18–12 record and a 10–0 start in Ohio Valley Conference play during the 2024–25 season. The Panthers led the conference in scoring defense and field goal percentage defense while producing both the OVC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
Prior to her time at Eastern Illinois, Bragman spent the 2023–24 season at New Mexico Highlands, where she served as an assistant coach and also contributed as an assistant athletic director, assisting with operations and facilities.
Bragman was the head coach at Trinidad State College from 2019–23, where she led a turnaround of the program, increasing win totals significantly and earning NJCAA Region 9 Coach of the Year honors in 2021–22. She also gained experience as an assistant coach at Western Colorado and previously at Trinidad State, contributing to record-setting performances and postseason appearances.
As a student-athlete, Bragman played at Trinidad State and later at Stephen F. Austin, where she was part of two Southland Conference championship teams and a Women’s Basketball Invitational runner-up finish. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.
A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bragman returns to the region with a proven track record of developing talent, building competitive programs, and contributing to championship-level success.
