Jeff Hulme joined Eastern New Mexico football as offensive coordinator in January 2026. He comes to ENMU after five seasons as head coach at Mansfield Legacy High School.
Hulme comes to the High Plains of Eastern New Mexico serving the last 22 years in a head coaching capacity at several schools in the Lone Star state. He holds more than 150 career wins as a high school head coach.
He took Legacy to their first playoff appearance since 2019 during the 2024 campaign.
Prior to his time at Legacy, he was the head coach at Waco Midway for five seasons.
In four of his five years, he led the program to eight or more wins. In 2017, the team went all the way to the state championship game. During his runnerup season, the program went 15-1.
From 2008-15, Hulme coached at Mansfield High School. With the Tigers, he compiled 60 wins, including two 12-win seasons. In 2011, they advanced to the third round of the state playoffs. In his final year with the team, he took them all the way to the state semifinals before falling to Lake Travis.
He was also the head coach at Fort Bend Clements from 2004-07. In just four seasons with the Rangers, they won 33 games. In 2007, Fort Bend Clements was 13-1 before falling in the fourth round of the state tournament.
Prior to his 22 years as a high school football head coach, Hulme had stints as an assistant at Bastrop, Fort Bend, and Kingwood.
Hulme holds a bachelor’s from Texas Tech and a master’s from Sul Ross State. He played college football at both the University of Arkansas and Texas Tech.
In his junior and senior seasons at Georgetown High School, he played under Art Briles.
He is married to wife, Mindi, and they have one daughter, Sydney.
