Eastern New Mexico director of athletics
Kevin Fite has announced the hiring of Lindsey Knight as the department's assistant athletic director for marketing and communications.
Knight most recently served as a Digital Media Assistant for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, where she managed social media platforms, created graphics and reels, and produced the athlete interview podcast "GNAC Insider." She also helped lead operations for multiple sports championships across the Pacific Northwest.
From 2023-2025, she worked with Major League Baseball, where she oversaw attractions at the Capital One All-Star village during All-Star Week, managed staff, and coordinated celebrity appearances and announcer schedules. At Montana State University Billings Athletics from 2023-2026, Knight handled graphic design, game-day recaps, website management, and compliance projects. She also gained game-day operations experience at Washington State University in 2023, working with men's and women's basketball and baseball.
Knight graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Communication in 2024.
She previously served as a ticketing assistant for the Missoula Paddleheads Baseball Club in 2022 and volunteered over 100 hours with Cheyenne Frontier Days from 2021-2025.
Knight will oversee ENMU Athletics' marketing, communications, creative content, social media strategy, ticket sales, and fan engagement efforts while supporting the department's continued growth and community outreach initiatives.
