PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico volleyball team hosts a key Lone Star Conference match Tuesday night in Greyhound Arena at 7 p.m. The Zias will take on Cameron as both teams are currently tied for sixth in the conference and a game up on Midwestern State and Texas A&M-Commerce for eighth.

Kennedi Catano leads Eastern with 5.23 a/s. Fellow senior
Karra Day adds 4.63 a/s and has recorded 15 service aces.
Sophomore
Lindsay Bost leads the team in d/s (3.71) and service aces. Adding 2.89 d/s is fellow classmate
Courtney Lawson. Since taking over as the libero four matches ago, freshman
Andrea Aguilar is getting 4.56 d/s.
Gibbons' 1.03 b/s and 81 total blocks are the most by a Zia this season. She also has 14 of the team's 26 solo rejections as well. Senior
Bree Anna Lucero has added 72 blocks and 0.91 b/s while Frye is halfway to the century mark in blocks.
As a team, Eastern is hitting .172 with 11.7 k/s and 10.9 a/s. They recorded 100 service aces while hitting into 119 service errors. The Zias average 13.4 d/s and hold a 159-149.5 block advantage. Opponents are posting 11.7 k/s, 11.0 a/s and hitting .173.
Scouting CameronThe Aggies have lost their last two matches, both in three sets on the road to Angelo State and Tarleton State. On the road, CU is 2-6 with victories against East Central and Texas A&M-Commerce. Their other two conference wins were over Texas A&M-Kingsville and the Zias at home.
Kat Evans leads the team with 203 kills and 2.71 k/s. Kendra Adams (2.50) and Rebecca Green (2.55) are both averaging over two and a half kills a set. Green paces the squad with a .278 attack percentage. Setting the attackers up is Ingrid Boatman and Kayla Hebert. Boatman has 429 assists and is posting 6.50 a/s while Hebert has added 324 assists for 4.32 a/s.
Defensively, Cristina Viera has a team-high 281 digs and 3.70 d/s. Lindsey McCauley (3.04) and Hebert (3.17) are both getting over three digs a set while four others are averaging over two digs a set as well. Green leads the team with 46 blocks. Paige Holt has rejected 40 attack attempts and is tied for the team lead of four solo blocks with Evans.
CU is averaging 12.2 k/s and 11.6 a/s while hitting .162. They have 83 service aces and have hit into only 64 service errors. The Aggies are getting 18.5 d/s, the second most in the LSC.
At the net, CU is the only team not to have reached the triple-digits in blocks. They have 98 rejections and have been blocked 169 times which is the second most in the conference.
Opponents are hitting .193 against them with 12.8 k/s and 12/1 a/s.
