PORTALES, N.M. — Eastern New Mexico University Women's Basketball Coach Josh Prock has announced the addition of Miranda Moore (Sr., W, 5-8, Coolidge, Ariz., Coolidge HS/Dixie State/Central Arizona) for the 2015-16 season. Moore is a highly accomplished student athlete, both on the court and classroom, and expected to make a major impact for the Zias.

"Miranda is a tremendous athlete and overall basketball player," said Prock. "She is someone that can play all three guards spots and will be one of the better defensive players in our conference. Miranda will graduate this December from Dixie State with a degree in business administration.  While attending Eastern New Mexico, she will pursue her Master of Business Administration.  Once again, we are extremely excited to have Miranda as a part of our program. She definitely embodies everything we want in a student athlete."

Moore was a standout at Dixie State College and Central Arizona College. While at Central Arizona, she helped lead her team to the 2013 National Junior College Championship game and to the 2012 NJCAA Final Four.  She was a Dean's List recipient all four semesters while attending CAC.  Moore was also the commencement speaker for the 2013 graduation at Central Arizona.

Moore attended Coolidge High School, where she earned many accolades. Moore was named to the all-conference and all-region teams.  She was also named the region Most Valuable Player.  Moore averaged a double double, with 25.4 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.  After the 2011 season, Moore was named Athlete of the Year and was her high school's Salutatorian.
