The greyhounds fell behind 2-0 in the top of the third inning, but managed to battle back and take a 3-2 lead heading into the eighth inning. The Rams again took the lead in the top of the eighth, scoring two runs to take a one run lead before Montano came in as relief with two outs to retire the final at bat.

Following a walk for the second at bat of the inning, another wild pitch advanced both runners to third and second, respectively, and allowed
