COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team suffered their first loss at the Steel & Silver Classic Saturday, falling to Missouri Western State University in three straight sets, 25-15, 25-20 and 25-22. MWSU moved to 5-2 on the season, making their win over the Greyhounds their fifth straight. ENMU moved to 4-3 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED- MWSU came out of the gate at an extremely high clip that continued throughout the match, winning three straight sets with a hitting percentage of .320 and only seven errors, making for a very efficient match.
- MWSU recorded a .393 hitting percentage in the opening set followed by a .412 in the next.
- Errors plagued the Greyhounds throughout the match, committing 23 total errors.
PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS- Lauren Frye led all players with 14 kills and an efficient .370 hitting percentage. It is her fourth match with 10 or more kills on the season.
UP NEXT- ENMU will play the University of Colorado Springs at Colorado Springs in their final match of the Steel & Silver Classic tonight at 7:00 p.m.
