AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Eastern New Mexico University men's soccer team fell to 3-2-2 on the season after a loss to No. 8 St. Edward's University Sunday, ending a six day road trip for the Greyhounds.
ENMU goalkeeper James Gutierrez recorded five saves in the match which saw the Hilltoppers outshoot the Greyhounds 18-1. This is the first match of the season where the team has failed to score at least one goal.
The Hounds are now 1-7-2 against the Hilltoppers all time. The eight goals was the most goals allowed this season.
ENMU will return home from their long road trip to prepare for cross-state rival West Texas A&M University Thursday, Oct. 1. The match is slated to start at 3:00 p.m. (MT).
