PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University men's soccer team fell for the first time in six-matches, losing 4-1 to UTPB in Odessa on Thursday evening. The loss drops the Greyhounds to 5-6-4 overall and 3-5-3 in Heartland Conference action.

Ryan Flores started in goal for the Greyhounds and made five first half saves, but the Falcons found the back of the net on Caio Toth's goal in the 38
th-minute. Toth's shot dribbled into the net after deflecting off the crossbar from the top of the box. Early in the second half, UTPB expanded the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Tainan Bagetti in the 51
st-minute.

UTPB added a pair of quick goals in the 62
nd and 64
th-minute from Alex Clark and Brandon Lee to push the lead to 4-0.

In the 80
th-minute,
Ignacio Dicun found the back of the net on a cross pass from
Robbie Leonard. The goal by the junior from Amarillo, Texas, was his second of the season while Leonard earned his team-leading third assist of the year to cut the score to 4-1.
