SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Eastern New Mexico University basketball team snapped a three-game losing skid with a 67-54 victory over Huston-Tillotson College on Sunday afternoon in San Angelo. The win improves the 'Hounds' record to 2-3 on the year.
Eastern rode a hot-shooting start to take a 35-26 lead into the break. The Greyhounds went 13-of-32 from the field and 3-of-7 from deep, good for a 40.6 overall percentage. The Green and Silver dished out a season-high 14 assists, including six from senior guard
Chris Wyms and junior guard
Marquise Harris. Harris and forward
Andre Hughes each scored a game-high 17 points while
Chris Lewis cleaned up the glass with 13 rebounds in the winning effort.
