The ENMU Greyhounds volleyball team wraps up a four-match homestand against new Lone Star Conference foe, Western New Mexico on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Greyhound Arena. Eastern hits the road this weekend to take on UTPB and West Texas A&M on Friday and Saturday.

Sia Poyer (40-65), in his fourth-year at the helm of the volleyball program, needs 10 victories to eclipse the 50-win plateau.
• The Greyhounds and Mustangs have met just once since the 2008 season with Western claiming a 3-2 win over Eastern in 2013 in Las Vegas, N.M.
• The Greyhounds and Falcons have met five times since 2009, but three of the matches were vacated by the Greyhounds. Officially, Eastern is 0-2 against UTPB.
• In the last eight seasons, Eastern is 1-13 against West Texas A&M. Eastern posted a 3-1 win over the Lady Buffs last season at Greyhound Arena.

Lauren Frye enters the weekend with 1,387 career kills to rank No. 3 on the all-time list and needs 299 to break Christabell Mariner's program record of 1,695. The Amissville, Va., native was named the Lone Star Conference's Offensive Player of the Week after putting up 68 kills and a .315 attack percentage. Frye was also named to the All-Tournament team at the Tarleton State Tournament earlier this season.
• Senior
Courtney Lawson aims to end her prolific career in the Green and Silver with a bang. Lawson was named one of three Academic Greyhounds of the year last year and has 31 double-doubles during her tenure at ENMU, including seven this season. The senior from Rio Rancho, N.M. notched 29 kills and a team-high 46 digs this past week.
• Junior
Alexis Aguirre and sophomore
Kaitlyn Kluna have set the table for the offense this season, dishing out a combined 625 dimes. The duo dished out 164 this past week, with Aguirre picking up 103 alone.
• Junior libero
Andrea Aguilar has 196 digs this season after setting the ninth-highest mark in school history last year with 522. The Clovis, N.M. native climbed into 10th-place on the all-time list for the Greyhounds and eclipsed 1,000 in her career this past Saturday against Cameron.
• Junior
Brooklyn Biel was second on the team last week with 46 kills and led the way with a .365 attack percentage. The junior middle blocker from Laveen, Ariz., is second on the team with 172 kills and 33 blocks on the season.
• Redshirt freshman
Jennifer Martinez is coming off a strong weekend performance for the Greyhounds. Martinez was placed in the middle of Eastern's defense this past week and recorded seven blocks against New Mexico Highlands.

• Tarleton State's Hailey Roberts was named Offensive Player of the Year, Texas Woman's Sara Oxford earned Defensive Player of the Year acclaim, and Texas A&M-Kingsville's Casey Klobedans was tabbed Setter of the Year.
• Angelo State was the narrow favorite to capture the Lone Star Conference title, according to the 2016 LSC volleyball preseason poll. The league's preseason polls reflect the opinions of LSC head coaches and sports information directors, plus various media representatives from throughout the region.
