PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University men's soccer program smoked Westminster (Utah), 3-1, in Grand Junction, Colo. The Greyhounds improve to 1-0-1 after the strong offensive output this afternoon.

"We finished the game like we should," ENMU Head Coach
Paul Tate said. "We competed the full 90-minutes and almost put up another goal in the last five seconds."

Robert Raspudic found the back of the net on a set-piece for the Greyhounds at the 14:44 mark in the first half.
Kyle Habetler lobbed a corner into the box and Raspudic headed the ball past Westminster's Max Medley for the first goal of the season for ENMU.

With just under 20-minutes to play in the first half,
Ryan Sinclair found
Omary Shabani on a cross in front of the net. Shabani took advantage of the mismatch and found the webbing to give the Greyhounds a 2-0 lead.

Westminster narrowed the deficit to one in the second half as Preston McIllece was able to beat
James Gutierrez on a deflection off a free kick. The Greyhounds put the game out of reach in the 87
th-minute when
Ignacio Dicun picked up
Javier Rubio from 11 yards out on a through ball to give ENMU a 3-1 lead.
