PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team welcomes Lubbock Christian to the friendly confines of Greyhound Arena for the final non-conference matchup of the regular season, sponsored by Pepsi. The Greyhounds look to avenge a setback suffered earlier in the season at the hands of the Lady Chaps.

ENMU has won 11 of its last 12 home contests, dropping only eight sets in the 11 wins. During the streak, Eastern upset 10
th-ranked Angelo State 3-2. Additionally, the Hounds have sent rival West Texas A&M packing for each of the last three seasons when travelling to Portales.

The Green and Silver went 2-0 this past week, holding serve against Texas-Permian Basin and West Texas A&M. On Friday, ENMU made quick work of the Falcons before claiming a thrilling fourth set victory to upend the Lady Buffs.

Andrea Aguilar is coming off a career performance against WT. The Clovis, NM, product racked up 36 digs in the Hounds win, the fifth-most in a single match in program history and second-most in a four set match. The LSC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year needs 27 digs to move into second place on the all-time list, passing Irma Cobos' mark of 1,653.

The Laveen, Ariz., native came one block shy of setting the all-time single match record with 10 rejections against Cameron earlier this season. The senior needs 21 more blocks on the year to climb into the top-10 list in program history.

Alexis Aguirre recorded her 2,000th assist in the Greyhounds win over Colorado Christian earlier this season, becoming just the seventh player in program history to eclipse 2,000. The Artesia, NM, native is coming off a 31 assist performance against rival West Texas A&M. A multi-sport athlete, Aguirre claimed a 20th-place finish in the javelin at the NCAA DII Track and Field Championships.

Jasmine Gannon have made significant contributions this season. Tuioti-Mariner leads the team with 182 kills and has at least 10 kills in nine of the last 11 matches, including a 22 kill outburst against West Texas A&M. Earlier this season, the Corona, Calif., native blasted 21 kills and hit .264 in the five set loss to Lubbock Christian. Gannon is currently third on the team with 138 kills and has 11 matches with at least eight kills on the season.
