Hounds Upended at Kingsville, 3-1

KINGSVILLE, Texas - The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team was tripped up on the road at Texas A&M-Kingsville, 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 14-25, 21-25). The Greyhounds fall to 8-14 overall and 5-7 in Lone Star Conference action.
 
Sarah Tuioti-Mariner (13) and Brooklyn Biel (10) each broke double-digits in kill totals while Jasmine Gannon (9) and Amanda Dietz (8) flirted with double figures. Dietz's eight kills were a new season-high and her .350 hitting percentage led the team. Defensively, Andrea Aguilar continued her assault on the record book with 17 digs in the match. Alexis Aguirre dished out 23 assists to pace the offense.
 
The Greyhounds are back in action on Monday, October 23, against in-state rival Western New Mexico. First serve against the Mustangs is slated for 6 p.m. in Greyhound Arena.
