McCants Double Double Lifts Greyhounds to Road Win Over Rattlers

Saturday, December 16, 2017

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS —With a 48-45 lead and less than 20 seconds left, Brandi Gomez stepped in front a pass and calmly drained two free throws after a foul was called. The free throws sealed the fifth win of the season for the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team. The Greyhounds (5-5) rallied from an eight-point deficit in Saturday's contest at Bill Greehey Arena to post a 52-45 win over St. Mary's (5-8).

Daeshi McCants paced the Hounds with 14 points and 14 rebounds to register her third double double of the season and seventh of her career.
