COMMERCE, TEXAS — Senior guard
Mikaehla Connor poured in a season-high 20 points to go along with five rebounds and three blocked shots for the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (3-5; LSC 0-3). Texas A&M-Commerce (5-4; LSC 2-1) overcame a fast start by the Greyhounds and rallied for a 64-57 win in Lone Star Conference play, Thursday morning at The Field House.
The contest marked the first time Connor reached the 20-point mark since scoring 22 in a win at Midwestern State in February of last season. The senior guard has scored 20 points for Eastern on three occasions.

- With the loss, the Greyhounds dropped to 32-29 in the series against Texas A&M-Commerce and 10-21 on the road in the series

- Brianna Wise hit 19 of her 23 free throw attempts and scored 30 of the Lions 64 points in the game
- Daeshi McCants scored 15 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had three steals for ENMU

Key Runs
- Facing a 49-44 deficit with 3:16 left in regulation, the Lions closed on an 8-2 run and took their first lead of the game on a Brianna Wise free throw with 19 seconds left
- Wise scored all eight points during the run with six coming at the charity stripe
- Mikaehla Connor hit a game-tying jumper with nine seconds left to force overtime
- Eastern made their biggest run right after the game tipped off and scored the game's first seven points as part of a 13-3 run
