PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team rallied for a 7-6, 11-inning win in the first game of the double-header before the ENMU pitching staff tossed a one-hit shutout in game two. Eastern improved to 20-5 on the season with the sweep today.

In the first game, ENMU rallied on three separate occasions to tie the game before
Chris Padilla delivered a walkoff double in the bottom of the 11
th. Earlier in the contest, the Greyhounds came back from a 5-1 deficit in the fifth before responding to UTPB's go-ahead run in the ninth. Michael McNicholl set up the inning by singling through the left-side of the infield and then stole second on the following pitch.
Jared Gay lifted a single into left to plate McNicholl to tie the game at six. In the 11
th,
Garlind Webster wore a 1-1 pitch to reach base and moved up to second on a sacrifice bunt. Padilla then roped a double into the left-center alley to secure the win for ENMU.

In game two,
Keenan Dodd hurled 5.0, one-hit innings while striking out seven before
Victor Persad notched 2.0 no-hit innings with five strikeouts. Webster paced the offense in the nightcap, going 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
