PORTALES, NM – The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team welcomes Texas A&M-Kingsville to the friendly confines of Greyhound Arena at 6 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds 2-7, 0-1 LSC, look to rebound against the Javelinas.

• Senior libero Andrea Aguilar enters the matchup after picking up her 1,500th-dig this past week at Western New Mexico. The reigning LSC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year has gone above 500 digs in each of the last two season and needs 430 to match Caitlin Murphy's all-time mark of 1,930.

• Senior Brooklyn Biel has been a catalyst for the Greyhounds over the past three seasons. The Laveen, Ariz., native needs eight kills on Friday to eclipse 100 for the season and is hitting at a .195 clip.  A force to be reckoned with in the middle, Biel has stuffed 237 shots during her time with the Green and Silver and needs 48 to crack the top 10 list in program history after rejecting 22 attempts on the year.

• Senior Alexis Aguirre recorded her 2,000^th assist in the Greyhounds win over Colorado Christian on Sept. 8, becoming just the seventh player in program history to eclipse 2,000. A multi-sport athlete, Aguirre claimed a 20^th-place finish in the javelin at the NCAA DII Track and Field Championships and needs 73 to surpass Barbara Lynn for fifth all-time.

• Sophomore Sarah Tuioti-Mariner and freshman Jasmine Gannon have made significant contributions this season. Tuioti-Mariner leads the team with 99 kills and is coming off a 21-kill performance against Lubbock Christian, earning All-Tournament accolades while Gannon had three matches with at least 10 kills last weekend. Gannon, a local product out of Texico, N.M., is third on the team with 83 kills and has started all nine matches for the Hounds.
