Greyhounds Weather Angelo State Rams for Crucial LSC Victory

Portales, NM — Saturday night's Lone Star Conference game at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium had a little of everything. A quick start by the Eastern New Mexico University football team (3-1; LSC 2-1), a lightning delay, a rally by Angelo State (2-2; LSC 0-2), and heavy winds. Senior running back Kamal Cass contributed a season-high 182-yard effort with one touchdown as Eastern held on for a 31-21 win. The contest was sponsored by Bank of Clovis.
