PORTALES, NM — On Friday afternoon, the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team (0-1-1) will open a four-game road trip. The Greyhounds will look to bounce back from an overtime heartbreaker against Adams State to claim their first win of the season.

Eastern will take on Texas A&M-International on Friday at 4 p.m. MT, in San Antonio, Texas. A Sunday morning game against St. Mary's will follow at 11 a.m.

Kaitlin Caro scored twice in the opener and paces the Hounds with two goals. Alejandra Caramillo has played every minute in net and boasts a 1.71 goals against average.

Spence is entering his first season with Eastern.

Texas A&M-International is 1-1 on the season, with a win over Delta State and a setback against St. Mary's. The Dustdevils posted a 1-16-1 record last season. They dropped a 2-1 decision to Midwestern the only time they faced Lone Star Conference competition.
 
Eastern has a 3-0 record against the Dustdevils. The teams met twice in the 2015 season.

St. Mary's is 2-0 this year, with wins over Texas A&M-International and Delta State. Last year the Rattlers posted an 8-6-4 record and reached the Heartland Conference tournament.

Eastern is 1-3 against St. Mary's. The lone win came in the 2007 season, when Marcela Garcia scored more than five minutes into overtime. Stephanie Sanchez made nine saves.
