PORTALES, NM — The Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (12-8; LSC 8-5)held a season-best 26-rebound advantage in Thursday night's Lone Star Conference matchup at Greyhound Arena. That advantage translated into a convincing 16-2 edge in second-chance points as the Hounds earned a 64-59 win over Tarleton State ((14-7; LSC 8-5).
Alivia Lewis paced the Hounds with 10 rebounds, in addition to seven points and four blocked shots. The contest was sponsored by Combs Properties.
The win was ENMU's third straight, as the Hounds have won seven of their last nine.
