SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — Senior
Erikka Burke homered for the second straight game and gave the Eastern New Mexico University softball team (5-5) an early lead in its St. Mary's Classic finale on Sunday. 22
nd-ranked St. Mary's (6-4) rallied to snap ENMU's four-game win streak with a 9-4 decision.

- After Karina Moreno led off the game with a single, a foul ball off the batt of Burke was dropped
- ENMU made the Rattlers pay for the error, as Burke launched the 26th homer of her career to give the Hounds a 2-0 advantage
- St. Mary's responded with three runs in the bottom of the first and seized an 8-2 lead
- Jennifer McElroy's two-out, two-run single in the Greyhound sixth pulled ENMU within 8-4
