Hounds Bounce Back With Strong Defensive Showing at Texas Woman’s

DENTON, TEXAS — Brandi Gomez poured in 12 points, while Shelby Jones registered her third double double of the season for the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (14-9; LSC 10-6). The Greyhound defense dominated play and picked up a 64-58 win over Texas Woman's University (8-13; LSC 5-10) at Kitty Magee Arena.

For the Record Books
  • Eastern New Mexico University Head Coach Josh Prock became the second coach in program history to notch his 40th Lone Star Conference win
  • The Hounds reached double figures in LSC wins in back to back seasons for the first time since 2003-04 and 2004-05

  • Eastern moved to 31-22 against the Pioneers with a 14-13 road record
