TYLER, TX – Eastern New Mexico men's basketball took another road loss falling to UT Tyler 77-69.
Despite keeping the Patriots to an 18.8 three point percentage, the Greyhounds were unable to keep turnovers low and were unsuccessful recording offensive rebounds. The Hounds matched the Patriots with 31 rebounds while finished with a free throw percentage of 88.0.
Devin Pullum matched his season high 26 points with a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Recently recording his first double-double,
Brandon Meadows finished the night with ten points eight rebounds and two assists.
Slow out the gate, the Greyhounds were unable to reach double-digits until the ten minute mark where
Garrick Sherrod was taken to the free throw line. Sherrod knocked down two taking to the Hounds to ten points, an eleven point trail to the Patriots. The Hounds continued to push the ball down the hardwood and pulled within five before the half.
Deep into the second half the Greyhounds saw the first led of the game thanks to a jumper by
Darius Sawyer. The Hounds stayed close until the Patriots slowly gained an eight point led. With less than a minute on the clock,
Brandon Meadows grabbed the defensive rebound passing it to
Devin Pullum who took at shot at a three pointer and drained it taking the Hounds within four. A foul on the Greyhounds took a Patriot to the line while Pullum responded with another beyond the arc keeping the Hounds alive. Ut Tyler took the Hounds for a couple more fouls and a win as the Greyhounds were unable to succeed in a late comeback.

th against Cameron. Greyhound seniors will be honored on Saturday, Feb. 29
th vs Midwestern State.
