PORTALES, NM – The Eastern New Mexico football team hosted Angelo State University on Saturday afternoon and the Greyhounds were handed a 59-7 loss.
The Rams opened the scoring early in the first quarter with a 31-yard field goal from Asa Fuller.
In the second quarter, Angelo State racked up 28 points to take a 31-0 lead heading into halftime.
The ASU offense came out in the third quarter and scored twice more to make it a 45-0 game.
Eastern responded when 
Justin Manyweather caught a six-yard pass from 
Nathan Valencia for a touchdown. 
Cooper Hamilton kicked the extra point to make the score 45-7.
The Rams saw two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter to secure the 59-7 victory over the Hounds.

	- Prior to the game, ENMU honored eight seniors for their hard work and dedication to the program. The eight seniors recognized were Bailey Adair, Kelon Ferdinand, Zachery Fields, Vili Fisiiahi, Rakeem Hatchett, Justin Manyweather, Currie Thomason, and Vicen'te Walker.
 
	- With the loss, the Greyhounds shift to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in Lone Star Conference play.
 
	- Angelo State improves to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
 
	- The Rams lead the overall series, 26-18-1.
 
	- The Greyhounds are back in action on Saturday, November 6 when they travel to North American University.
