PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico men's soccer lost to UT Tyler, 3-0, Wednesday night.
The Greyhounds looked to have a pair of chances early in the contest with shots from
David Alonso and
Felix Drizinsky, but the Patriots were able to keep those attempts off target.
Jaime Oliva's best opportunity came in the 17th minute, but a save by UTT gave the Patriots an easy transition.
From that moment, the host institution found an open chance and scored its first goal 30 seconds later.
ENMU allowed two more goals in the 21st and 56th minutes.
The Hounds are back at home Saturday night with a contest against conference foe, West Texas A&M. First kick is set for 7 p.m. at Greyhound Stadium.
