PORTALES, N.M. – Martin Pazanin has joined the Eastern New Mexico Women's Basketball staff ahead of the 2022-23 season, as announced by
Meghan De los Reyes, Head Women's Basketball Coach.
"Martin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program," said De los Reyes. "He has coached for over thirteen years at various levels and he has contributed to each team's success in a myriad of ways. We are so fortunate to have someone of his caliber joining our staff," said De los Reyes. "Martin is incredibly hard-working, passionate about the game and has a real eye for talent. We could not be happier that he is part of our Greyhound Family!"
Pazanin comes to Portales after serving as the Director of Basketball Operations for Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Women's Basketball program in Los Angeles, California. In his role with the Lions, Pazanin held several responsibilities including the creation and design of offensive sets and system. Additionally, Pazanin oversaw game scheduling, practice planning, player evaluations, and created individual player development plans.
"I am beyond excited for the opportunity to be an assistant for ENMU Women's Basketball program!" said Pazanin. "Coach De los Reyes is an exceptional leader whose passion is inspiring. Moving forward, I will work tirelessly to serve our players, staff, university, and community," said Pazanin.
Before landing at LMU, Pazanin spent one season as the Video Coordinator for the University of Washington Women's Basketball program. With the Huskies, Pazanin created individual and team breakdowns, constructed analytical reports of opponents, and prepared video and instructive sessions with team. Prior to landing at Washington, Pazanin gathered coaching experience at Culver-Stockton College, as an Assistant Men's Basketball coach, and spending seven years as a high school coach in Illinois.
Pazanin achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from Bradley University, graduating in 2009.
