LAKEWOOD, COLO. – Eastern New Mexico Women's Soccer were held 1-0 against Colorado Christian University on Sunday afternoon at Trailblazer Stadium. The Greyhounds slip to 1-1-0, while the Cougars move to 1-1-0.
ENMU had the games first sight of goal at the 10-minute mark, with
Tori Galindo having an attempt saved. A few minutes later, CCU would get on the board after Parker Sweet pounced on a loose ball in the six-yard area.
The remainder of the first half was controlled by the Cougars, firing seven more shots, with
Samantha Jeffries saving the three attempts on goal. The home team went into the break ahead 1-0.
In the second 45 minutes, Eastern did their best to create chances but only managed one attempt in the second half. The Cougars continued to attack the Hounds goal, with Jeffries being forced into two saves. At the final whistle, CCU held on to a 1-0 win over Eastern.

- Jeffries stopped five shots in the Eastern net, while Ashleigh Maguire stopped the one shot from ENMU.
- The lone goal came at the 14th minute mark, from Sweet of CCU.
- Galindo, Hannah Grady, Kelsey Medina, and Sydney Saxon each had a shot during the contest, with Galindo's finding the target.
- CCU held the edge in shots (14-4) and shots on goal (6-1).
- Colorado Christian raked up nine corners throughout the match, while ENMU had two corner kicks.

- The all-time series between the two teams now stands at 3-3, with CCU taking the last three meetings.
- Four Greyhounds went the full 90 minutes: Jeffries, Sierra Villanueva, Kinsie Mitchell, and Selena Casias.
