PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Women's Basketball will play two in-state Division I opponents before the regular season begins in a pair of exhibitions. The Greyhounds will head to Albuquerque, N.M. and play New Mexico in The Pit on Sunday, Oct. 22, beginning at 2 p.m. Then, Eastern close its exhibition schedule with game against New Mexico State in Las Cruces, N.M. at Pan America Center on Sunday, Oct. 29, with a 2 p.m. tipoff.
"It's always a blessing to play two in-state Division I programs," said Head Women's Basketball Coach Blake Huber. "We have a lot of former Division I talent on our roster, so this we be a good test for us going into the season. Exhibitions are used to clean up any mistakes we have before the regular season, and we plan on getting better from these games leading up to Nov. 10th," said Huber.

Eastern New Mexico open the regular season at home against Fort Lewis on Nov. 10 at 2:30 p.m. as part of the 2023 South Central Region Crossover held at Greyhound Arena (Nov. 10-11
th). In total eight games will be played over two days, with ENMU WBB playing a pair of contests, and ENMU MBB also playing two games.
