LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Eastern New Mexico Women's Soccer fell in a 2-0 away match with Colorado Christian at Trailblazer Stadium on Friday afternoon. Eastern fall to 1-2-3 on the season, while the Cougars improve to 1-2-1.
Colorado Christian posed a strong showing on home turf, controlling possession for a majority of the contest. The breakthrough goal came in the 33
rd minute, picking up a loose ball just outside the penalty area.
Samantha Jeffries recorded five saves in the opening period to keep the score at 1-0 for halftime.
The second half followed, with CCU grabbing a second goal in the 63
rd minute. The Cougars closed out Eastern, 2-0, on Friday afternoon.

- Sydney Saxon recorded a shot for the Greyhounds, while Jeffries made nine saves in net.
