Hardrockers Sink Men's Soccer, 1-0

The Greyhounds played their home opener on Saturday evening at Greyhound Stadium against South Dakota Mines

PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer fell in its home opener on Saturday evening against South Dakota Mines, 1-0, at Greyhound Stadium. The Greyhounds slip to 1-3-1, while SDM improve to 1-5 overall on the season.

Both teams had their chances in the first half, with each team posing three shots on goal in the opening period. Nick Huenig and Daniel Letherby each tested the SDM goalkeeper in the opening 10 minutes, while Catalin Nastuta stopped each shot they saw in the first half.
