SAN ANGELO, Texas – Eastern New Mexico Women's Basketball fell in a road contest against Angelo State, 66-55, on Saturday afternoon at the Junell Center-Stephens Arena. The Greyhounds slip to 4-8 overall, while holding an 0-6 LSC standing. Meanwhile, the Rambelles improve to 11-4 on the season with a 5-1 conference record.
After an opening flurry for the Rambelles in the first quarter, Eastern took a 13-11 advantage following a 10-2 streak.
Deja Adrian and
Vanessa Oduah both had four consecutive points, with an
Ishuana Hunter layup in between. The first frame ended tied at 13-13 each. After ENMU began the period with a 19-14 advantage, the Rambelles held the Greyhounds offense over the final 7:18 in the 1
st half. Angelo State took a 28-19 lead into the locker room.

Following the halftime intermission, the Greyhounds cut the lead to just four points at 30-26 with Hunter scoring six quick points. After another back-and-forth sequence,
Jaz Salon tied the game at 38-38 with a deep three-pointer. However, Angelo State closed the 3
rd quarter on a 7-2 streak to take a lead into the final period. The Rambelles continued the momentum into the 4
th frame, taking a 55-43 lead midway into the period. Eastern cut the lead to as little as five points, 58-53 ASU, but the Rams ended the game on an 8-2 streak sealing a 66-55.

- Eastern mustered a 35.1% field goal percentage (20-57), finished 23.8% from behind the arc (5-21), while holding an 83.3% free throw percentage (10-12). Angelo State finished the game shooting 47.2% from the field (25-53), 42.9% from the three-point arc (6-14), and just 58.8% at the charity stripe (10-17).
- Angelo State controlled the glass (43-27) and provided eight blocks compared to two blocks for ENMU.
- Hunter led the Greyhounds with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Oduah provided 15 points and Salon contributed 11 points. Adrian pulled down six boards with a pair of blocks, with Oduah leading the defensive effort with five steals.
