LUBBOCK, Texas – Eastern New Mexico Woman's Soccer (2-4-1, 1-2 LSC) faced tough opposition, falling to Lubbock Christian (4-3-1, 2-1 LSC), 5-0, on Wednesday evening at the LCU Soccer & Track Complex.
The Chaparrals start the match quickly, scoring in the 13
th minute to take and early lead. The advantage was doubled 16 minutes later as the Greyhounds trailed 2-0 at the break. Shortly after the restart, LCU scored another to increase their lead to 3-0. By the end of the match, the Chaps finished 5-0 winners, scoring goals in the 58
th minute and 63
rd minute.
Sarah Tate and
Brisa Franco both contributed a shot of goal during the contest.
In net, three goalkeepers took the field for ENMU.
Rosie Willmott Joyce started the match making seven saves in the match.
Yaritza Pelayo and
Aja Gonzales both entered the match, making one save each.
