EDMOND, Okla. – Eastern New Mexico Volleyball (4-18, 1-10 LSC) played three tight sets, but fell 3-0 against Oklahoma Christian (17-8, 6-5 LSC) on Wednesday evening at the Eagles' Nest.
OC 3, ENMU 0 (20-25, 18-25, 23-25)
Sophia Valdez had a solid match for the Greyhounds in attack, finishing with a match high 14 kills along with a .406 hitting percentage.
Randi Crandall was also effective with a .421 hitting percentage, totaling nine kills on 19 swings.
Cayla Reyes paced the team for assists with 34.
Defensively, Crandall posted a ENMU high of two blocks (one solo, one assist). Three other Greyhounds notched a block assist, while Reyes tallied a team best 12 digs.
Imahni Brown also crossed double figures for digs with 11.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORES
- Valdez matched a season high for kills with 17, along with their 2nd best mark for hitting percentage on the season.
- Additionally, Crandall reached a season high for kills with nine, while Reyes grabbed their seventh double-double of the campaign (third in a row).
- The Greyhounds look to bounce back against Sul Ross State on Saturday, November 2 at Steve Loy Family Foundation Arenes. The afternoon match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
