PORTALES, N.M. – After a tight opening quarter, Eastern New Mexico Women's Basketball (7-1, LSC 2-0) controlled a 36-point victory over Oklahoma Christian (3-2, LSC 0-1), 84-48 on Thursday evening at Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena.

Ishuana Hunter took control of the game with 20 points on 10-18 shooting in just 21 minutes off the bench. Hunter led the Greyhounds defensive effort with four steals, while grabbing three rebounds.
Abbi Holder knocked down five three pointers in the game (5-6 3PTFG) while dishing out a pair of assists.
Nataya Lockett had a game high six rebounds to go along with 13 points (6-11 FG) and two assists.
Jayla Smith added nine points and four rebounds, while
Tatiana Platonova,
Martrice Brooks, and
Daci Smith all finished with six points.
After the first quarter ended with the Eagles leading 23-22, the Greyhounds took full control of the game, outscoring OC 18-6 in the 2
nd quarter. A 12-2 stretch midway through the second quarter established a comfortable cushion. Eastern took advantage of the Oklahoma Christian turnovers, scoring 30 points, while the ENMU bench outscored the Eagles 37-14.

- The Greyhounds now take control of the of the all-time series, 4-3, with tonight victory being the largest by any team.
- Eastern shot a season high 53.1% from the floor (34-64), along with a season high for three-point shooting (64.7%, 11-17), while hitting just 50% of their free throws (5-10).
- The Greyhounds tied a season best five blocks, while 13 steals are the most against a Division II opponent this season.
- Hunter eclipsed 20 points for the second time this season, making a season high 10 field goals. Holder connected on a career best five three pointers in the game.
