ENMU Strikes Early and Late To Secure 2-0 Win Over Adams State

Huenig opened the scoring in the second minute, while Robin Vandewalle poached a late goal in the 88th minute

PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer (1-0) started the season on the right foot picking up a 2-0 victory over Adams State (1-0) on Thursday afternoon at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.
 
Nick Huenig got the Hounds off the mark just two minutes into the game, taking advantage of a scattered ASU backline. Robin Vandewalle sealed the game late, sliding in a goal in the 88th minute.

Yahir Jimenez and Ben Sauerländer combined to set up Huenig on the opener, while Teddy McIntyre and Augustine Banhire contributed to the late goal from Vandewalle.

Milo Paci faced three shots on goal during the game, making all three stops.
