Sophia Valdez continued her consistent play, leading the Greyhounds with 11 kills while posting a .200 hitting percentage. Valdez also contributed defensively with four digs in the match.

Imahni Brown anchored the Greyhounds' back-row defense, recording a team-high 12 digs against the Mustangs' offensive attack. Brown's defensive effort helped ENMU stay competitive throughout several extended rallies.

ENMU now turns its attention to a challenging road trip, facing nationally-ranked Angelo State University, which is receiving votes in national polls, on Friday, Oct. 31. The Greyhounds will then travel to Odessa to take on UT Permian Basin on Saturday, Nov. 1, completing the weekend conference swing.
