(RV) Fort Lewis downs Women's Soccer, 5-0

The Greyhounds managed five shots with eight being on goal

DURANGO, Colo. – The Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team dropped a non-conference match to (RV) Fort Lewis 5-0 on Thursday evening on Dirk's Field in Durango, Colo.
 
The Skyhawks (2-0-1) took control of the match by scoring its first goal in the 26th minute of the first half. FLC managed to score its second goal right before half in the 39th minute after a foul was called inside the penalty box on Greyhounds goalkeeper Aja Gonzales to award the Skyhawks a penalty kick.
 
(RV) Fort Lewis scored three goals in the second half, holding the Greyhounds (0-2) to eight shots with five of them being on frame for the match.
 
Arissa C'DeBaca led ENMU with three shots with two of them on target. Gonzales tallied eight saves after facing 24 shots (13 on goal) from the Skyhawks.
 
The Greyhounds will stay in Colorado for a match against Adams State. Kick-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday.
