Women's Soccer drops road match to Adams State

Five Greyhounds managed one shot on the match

ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Eastern New Mexico women's soccer team finished off its road trip in Colorado with a 3-0 loss to Adams State on the ASU Soccer Field.
 
The Grizzlies took an early lead after a goal in the 20th minute and another just before half to take a 2-0 lead. The Grizzlies held the Greyhounds to three shots (two on frame) in the second half. ASU added one goal in the second half from a penalty kick to defeat the Greyhounds, 3-0.
 
Five Greyhounds managed shots in Sloane Sinnott (one on goal), Kaylee Baker, Louise Godden, Simone Brothers (one on goal), and Mia Jackson.
 
Goalkeeper Rosie Willmott Joyce received the start for ENMU and tallied 7 saves in 59 minutes. Aja Gonzales saw 30 minutes of action and recorded a pair of saves.
 
ENMU will take on UT Permian Basin on Wednesday, September 20 at the Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium. Kick off is slated for 2 p.m.
