SILVER CITY, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico volleyball team collected its first win of the season as the Greyhounds defeated Sul Ross State in straight sets at the LSC Challenge on Drag's Court on the campus of Western New Mexico.
 
ENMU 3, SRSU 0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-22)

• Senior libero Imahni Brown led the team with a season-high 23 digs which she collected on September 12 against Fort Lewis.
• Addison Bartlett tallied nine kills and a season-high three serving aces while Sophia Valdez added eight kills off a .353 clip.
• Middle blocker Amya Speller tallied six kills off 12 attempts and added three solo blocks and three assisted blocks.
• Freshman setter Violeta Flores registered 16 assists on the evening.
• The Greyhounds hit .245 as a group while holding the Lobos to a .063 hitting percentage, which included a -.0129 in the first set.

 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

• ENMU leads the series 25-12 against the Lobos
• Brown is five digs away from 500 career digs as a Greyhound.

 
The Greyhounds have a rematch with Western New Mexico at 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. The Mustangs defeated ENMU 3-0 on opening weekend.
