Greyhounds drop match to Texas A&M-Kingsville in three

ENMU snapped a three-match win streak on road to TAMUK

KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Eastern New Mexico volleyball team snapped a three-match win streak on Saturday afternoon in a 3-0 road conference loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville.

TAMUK 3, ENMU 0 (20-25, 18-25, 13-25)
  • Sophia Valdez led the Greyhounds with ten kills and a .350 hitting percentage while Addison Bartlett added eight kills and Amya Speller added five kills.
  • Imahni Brown finished with 12 digs on the afternoon.
  • The Greyhounds finished the match with eight blocks which included six assisted and two solo.
  • The Javelinas held the Greyhounds to its lowest hitting percentage (.061) since the Southwestern Oklahoma State match on September 11 where ENMU hit .010 on the match.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
  • TAMUK has not defeated ENMU in four straight matches with the last Greyhound win coming on September 10, 2022, in Austin, Texas.
The Greyhounds will be back in action next weekend for their 2025 home opener against Texas Women's on October 3 and DBU on October 4.
