PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University men's soccer team posted its second-straight victory, upending Southern Nazarene, 2-0, on Monday afternoon at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium. The win moves the Greyhounds to 4-5-1 on the year before returning to Heartland Conference action on Thursday.

Paul Tate said. "We need to capitalize more on our opportunities, but I'm glad to get the win. We just need to keep this winning streak going."

James Gutierrez pitched his third shutout of the season making a pair of saves in the winning effort. Senior
Ryan McManus fired 10 shots with six on goal and also picked up an assist. Freshman
Robbie Leonard picked up three points in the win, scoring the first goal from 25 yards out and assisting on
Luis Lozoya's goal in the 72
nd-minute.

Leonard decided to do some early spring cleaning for the Greyhounds on his first goal. In the 29
th-minute, McManus found the freshman with a cross pass before the freshman cleaned the spider webs out of the corner of the pipes for his first goal in the Green and Silver.

nd-minute, Lozoya showed fancy footwork near the goal to fool the Crimson Storm's keeper from eight yards out to put the Greyhounds ahead 2-0 and put the game out of reach.
