The ENMU Greyhounds volleyball team wraps up the historic 2016 regular season on Friday and Saturday at the friendly confines of Greyhound Arena. Eastern welcomes 10th-ranked Angelo State on Friday and Tarleton State for Senior Day on Saturday. First serve in both matches is slated for 6 p.m.

Lauren Frye enters the weekend with 1,640 career kills to rank No. 3 on the all-time list and needs 55 to break Christabell Mariner's program record of 1,695. The senior sits third-nationally in total kills this season with 491 and is second in the conference behind Tarleton's State's Hailey Roberts for the LSC lead. Frye is coming off a monster weekend, recording 60 kills in the three matches, including putting up 23 twice in the wins over Texas Woman's and Western New Mexico. The senior has been named the offensive player of the week three times this season from the Lone Star Conference. Frye has produced the No. 1 and No. 3 kills in a three set match this season across the entire NCAA Division II.

Brooklyn Biel ranks second on the team with 332 kills and is hitting at a .303 clip on the year. The junior middle blocker from Laveen, Ariz. has 62 blocks on the year to lead the team. Biel tied the single match high with a .600 attack percentage against Cameron earlier this season.

Courtney Lawson was named one of three Academic Greyhounds of the year last year and has 34 double-doubles during her tenure at ENMU, including 10 this season. The senior from Rio Rancho, N.M. has 238 kills, 318 digs and 27 aces to go along with 25 blocks.

Alexis Aguirre and sophomore
Kaitlyn Kluna have set the table for the offense this season, dishing out a combined 1,167 assists. Aguirre has 710 on the year, with Kluna not far behind at 457. Aguirre currently ranks seventh on the career list with 1,812 assists.

Andrea Aguilar has 460 digs this season after setting the 10th-highest mark in school history last year with 522. The Clovis, N.M. native climbed into 7th-place on the all-time list for the Greyhounds and eclipsed 1,000 in her career earlier this season against Cameron. Aguilar was named as the conference's Defensive Player of the Week after recording the first 30-dig performance of the season against Texas Woman's. She was the first player to accomplish the feat in four sets for Eastern since Hayley Crouch did so in 2012.
