PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball program fell in three sets to Texas A&M-Kingsville, 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-14), on Saturday at the Hampton Inn Court in Kingsville, Texas. The loss drops the Greyhounds to 4-6 overall and 0-1 in Lone Star Conference action.

The match marked the first time this season the Greyhounds did not record a player with at least 10 kills. Senior
Lauren Frye led the offensive effort with nine kills while junior
Brooklyn Biel had eight and hit .353 on the match.

Kaitlyn Kluna and
Alexis Aguirre picked up 12 and 11 assists, respectively.
Stevi-Rae Baca and
Jennifer Martinez led the defensive effort for Eastern with 10+ kills, apiece.

The Javelinas hit .330 on the match, the highest total against the Greyhounds this season and recorded only 10 errors in 106 attempts.
