PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team picked up its first home win of the season with a 3-1 (25-16, 25-22, 25-27, 25-18) victory over Cameron on Saturday night at Greyhound Arena in front of 454 fans. The win propels the Greyhounds to 6-7 overall and 1-2 in Lone Star Conference action.

Lauren Frye matched a career-high with 28 kills and hit .500 overall to spark the offense while
Andrea Aguilar picked up 17 digs to move over 1,000 in her career. With her performance, Aguilar moved into 10
th-place on the all-time list while Frye needs an even 300 kills to move into second on the all-time kills list.

Eastern jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first set after posting a .421 hitting percentage en-route to a 25-16 opening frame.

Courtney Lawson (5) all picked up at least five kills and posted swing percentages above .400 to take an early lead.

The Greyhounds continued to apply pressure in the second set, hitting .338.
Jennifer Martinez finished off five kills in the set with a .714 percentage. Eastern held the Aggies to a .075 attack percentage while
Andrea Aguilar recorded her 1,000th career dig in the frame.

A late surge by Cameron in the third set gave the Aggies a 27-25 win to move the score to 2-1. Frye picked up nine kills in the frame, but Eastern was unable to survive a long rally late. The Green and Silver only put up a .083 percentage, but were able to rebound in the final set.

Eastern mounted a 13-6 rally to close the fourth set to secure its first home victory of the season. Frye picked up eight of her 28 kills in the closing moments to give the senior from Amissville, Va., a career-high.
