PORTALES, NM — Greyhound fans, get ready to welcome the month of March with some exciting action on the baseball and softball fields.
 
The softball team will host a three-game series against Lone Star Conference-rival Midwestern State. The series will open with a Friday doubleheader at 5 p.m., and conclude with a single game at noon on Saturday. Eastern is off to a 5-0 start at home after thrilling wins over New Mexico Highlands and Western New Mexico University.
 
The baseball team will play Angelo State in a four-game, non-conference series. Action will start on Friday at 7 p.m. The teams will meet again on Saturday, with a 1 p.m. doubleheader. The series finale is set for Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. After this series, the Hounds will not play at home again until the end of the month, so don't miss your opportunity to see the Hounds in action. ENMU enters the weekend with a 7-1 record.
