PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Athletics has named Justin Bustos as the department's associate athletic director for facilities and event operations.
 
Bustos has been promoted after serving as the athletic department's sports information and media coordinator since August of 2025, where he managed the athletics website, social media channels, and game operations for home events. His familiarity with Eastern's facilities, staff, and gameday logistics made him a natural fit for the extended role.
 
Prior to his time at ENMU, Bustos spent nearly three years as the marketing coordinator at Trinidad state college, where he handled all marketing materials, social media, and branding for the college and its academic programs, while also assisting the athletic director with game operations for volleyball and basketball, including hiring student workers.
 
His background in athletics communications includes stints as assistant sports information director at CSU Pueblo from 2021 to 2022 and sports information director at New Mexico Highlands from 2017 to 2020, where he managed game operations, coordinated event staff, oversaw live broadcasts, and handled gameday setup and facility access for teams and officials.
 
Bustos holds a master's in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a bachelor's in business administration, both from New Mexico Highlands.

In his new role, he will oversee all facility scheduling, event operations, and gameday logistics for ENMU Athletics.
